Create Structure, Organise and Declutter!

23 Jan 2025, Singapore—Start the new year with an organised home. Display your precious accessories and collectables with innovative shelving solutions from W. Atelier. The approach to keeping your life at home structured and tidy is all about practical but stylish storage. Whether you want to hide or display them, our shelving or storage solutions will be purposeful and aesthetically pleasing, catering to your whims. For 2025, we have a range of shelving and/or storage systems to cater to every preference and budget.

LEMA – Court Yard console and Rainbow sideboard

The Court Yard console (left image) channels the industrial design from the 1960s. Designed by Francesco Rota for Lema, its sleek shape combines a slim metal structure and a wooden top. You have space for conspicuous storage or proudly display them on the top shelf.

Roberto Lazzeroni designed the Rainbow sideboard, a contemporary four-door storage unit raised from the ground via a metal base. Its name is explained by its eye-catching graphic facade with a colour pattern. The doors and lacquered wooden structure can be offered in a single-colour or multi-coloured version.‎

LEMA – Plain bookcase

The Plain bookcase system designed by Francesco Rota for Lema is informed by a rigid architectural shape that expresses fluidity and lightness visually. The sleek lacquered metal structure with square cross-sections accommodates the shelves, available in different lengths and thicknesses. Compartments for storing objects, books, or vinyl can be created at varying heights, extending an alluring sense of dynamism to any wall.

CASSINA – Rondos cabinets and Infinito Wall System

The Rondos (left image) cabinets, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Cassina, express a soft, rounded aesthetic that blends gracefully into any interior. Available in two sizes, the wooden cabinet can be opted in birch plywood veneered in stained black oak, Canaletto walnut, or natural oak. The top can be specified as veneered birch plywood or white Carrara, Carnico grey, Alpi green, Levanto red, Calacatta gold, and black Marquinia marble with a matt finish.‎

For homeowners who require a shelving solution for their TV area, the Infinito Wall System, designed by Franco Albini for Cassina in 1958, might do the trick. It is a double-sided bookcase perfect for a wall or a partition. There is a cable management system to hide unsightly wires. The panels and doors are made of ash or walnut veneer, while the hinges are made from nickel and burnished brass.

Vitra – Rayonnage Mural and Artek – Wall Shelf 112

From the house of Vitra and Artek, shelving solutions come in the form of the Rayonnage (left image) and Wall Shelf 112, designed by Jean Prouvé and Alva Aalto, respectively. The Rayonnage deploys metal brackets inspired by aircraft rudders to support solid oak panels in natural or dark-stained finishes. On the other hand, the Wall Shelf 112 employs lamella loops as metal brackets to support a birch veneer shelf to create an elegant and practical solution.

If organising and tidying up your life at the start of the year is your priority, head to W. Atelier to determine which shelving or storage systems meet your preferences and budget.
